    The Mizzou cross country team will return to action this Saturday (Oct. 2) as it takes part in the Greater Louisville Invitational on Saturday morning (Oct. 2) at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park. The meet begins at 9:30 a.m. and will feature teams from all around the nation, most notably from the ACC and SEC. Notable opponents include Georgia, Louisville, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech. The men will run an 8K while the women will run a 5K.

    The University of Notre Dame men's and women's cross country teams will play host to the 55th running of the Notre Dame Invitational. The competitive field will run at the nine-hole golf course located on Notre Dame's campus. The contest will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the women's gold race, followed by the men's gold race at 2:45 p.m. The open race, women's blue race and men's blue race will conclude the event at 3:30 p.m., 4:15 p.m. 5:00 p.m., respectively.

The men's team finished with a total of 50 points in the 8k race, behind Duke's 15 points. The women tallied 37 points, while Duke earned 20 points to claim the win in the 5k race. Duke runners Josh Lund (24:52) and Carly Seymour (17:29) finished in first place overall in their respective races.
