Isaac Presson of the University of North Carolina men's track and field team is the Tar Heel Performer of the Week for March 28-April 3, 2010. Presson turned in a pair of magnficient performances while competed in the 67th Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla.

University of North Carolina track and field coach Dennis Craddock will welcome 30 newcomers, including 19 men and 11 women, to the Tar Heel program in 2010-11. Fourteen of the newcomers are middle distance and distance runners, including Kendra Schaff, a transfer from the University of Washington who was the 2008 and 2009 Pac-10 Cross Country Athlete of the Year and finished second at the 2009 NCAA Championship.
TCR's girls continue to look good. Definitely the team to beat among NCHSAA 4A teams. Asheville's duo of Presson/Harwell have been leading the way for 4 years now.
