  1. UMES SENDS EIGHT STUDENT-ATHLETES TO NCAA REGIONALS

    PRINCESS ANNE, Md. --The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Track and Field team will have eight student-athletes competing in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) East Regional May 23-25 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Lenora Guion-Firmin, Gayon Evans, Imani Cox, Petra Kubesova, Emilie Ducados, Geranda Williams, Ackeem Smith and Dillon Smion will all compete for UMES in individual events. (via www.umeshawks.com)
  2. RAMIREZ & WALSH NAMED UMES ATHLETES OF THE YEAR AT AWARDS BANQUET

    The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) held its annual Athletic Awards Ceremony on May 6, 2013, naming Anggie Ramirez from women's bowling and Andre Walsh from track & field, the female and male Athletes of the Year.
