@yael Of note, while Colleen was a state champion at Nerinx Hall and Emily a state champion at Parkway Central, Courtney's best finish at the state XC meet, and only finish, was 54th in 2010 at Nixa. Never know what might happen if you stick with it.

Kaitlyn Fischer had a tough first NCAA Championship meet. After getting herself into contention moving up into the top 35-40 around the 3400-3600 mark she got tripped from behind knocked down, spiked in both legs one leg nearly needing stitches, knocked down a couple more times trying to get up...kicked in the head, breaking the skin on her forehead. By the time she got up she had lost 15-20 spots. She still managed to limp in at 79th . The eleventh freshman to finish. Really very proud of her effort and her grit!! And congrats to all the Missouri guys and gals great job representing Missouri!
