Each Team will be allowed unlimited athletes per race. ONLY the top 7 runners will be allowed to score/count per team.
Please note: There will be restroom facilities (porta johns) available located the start/finish area. Also, Georgia Regents University, nor Fort Gordon are responsible for lost or stolen items in or around any of its facilities.
Directions to the course: Please take exit #194 Bel-air Road/Jimmie Dyess Parkway. If traveling towards the east, make a RIGHT off the exit. If traveling west, make a LEFT off the exit. You will travel about 3 miles when you approach Gate 1 for the base. Detailed instructions for entering the base will be provided soon. All students who have a valid ID, will need to present it to enter the base. Those minors without will not be subjected to that requirement, but all adults in the official team's travel party will be. Also, valid vehicle insurance and registration is also required for any vehicles entering the base.
Upon entering the base stay on Chamberlain Road until you come to Rice Road. Make a LEFT on to Rice Road and follow this to Barton Field. Please park only in the designated areas of the facility. DO NOT PARK IN THE GRASS AREAS. Thank you.
Course description: The course is mostly grass and dirt with flat and very minor rolling terrain throughout course. It will consist of about 2.25 loops. One full outer loop of the course is approximately 2100m. Spikes are suggested, but not required. The footing overall on the course is very good (a few spots with minor amounts of sand) and should produce some fast times. Any other specific questions may be addressed to Coach Ward.
