  1. The Warm-Up Lap (Pt. 1): Meets of the Week, News and Notes

    The outdoor season is now officially fully underway with two of the spring’s biggest DI meets in the Texas Relays and Stanford Invitational both taking place this weekend. With the Texas Relays beginning Wednesday, the Warm-Up lap will provide a preview of the action in Austin first, with Stanford and DII and DIII meets of the week to follow Thursday.   5. National Coaches of the Year for DI Indoor Season Announced

    The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announces the national award winners for 2013 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field season as chosen by the nation’s coaches. National-championship coaches Chris Bucknam of Arkansas and Oregon’s Robert Johnson were named National Coaches of the Year. Arkansas’ Travis Geopfert and Kansas’ Wayne Pate are the National Assistant Coaches of the Year. (via USTFCCCA)
  6. Program of the Year Races Heating Up

    With the conclusion of the indoor track & field season, standings have been updated in the USTFCCCA Program of the Year races for the 2012-2013 school year. For award consideration, only the outdoor track & field championships remains for each of the three divisions of the NCAA. Men’s program leaders in the standings are Wisconsin, Adams State, and UW-La Crosse. On the women’s side, Oregon, Grand Valley State, and Wartburg lead through two of the three seasons of the school year. (via USTFCCCA)
  7. Division I Indoor USTFCCCA All-America Awards Announced

    The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the 288 men and 266 women who have earned USTFCCCA All-America honors for the 2013 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field season based on their performances at the Indoor Track & Field Championships. (via USTFCCCA)
