HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth women's cross country team took home 18th at the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh this morning with freshman Kaitlyn D'Orazio (York, Maine) as the Big Green's top finisher.
D'Orazio ran the course in 21:47 and finished 81st overall and ran at a 5:50 pace, while sophomore Elizabeth Short (North Reading, Mass.) was not far behind D'Orazio and crossed the line in 21:31 for 89th-place. She also ran a pace of 5:51. Rounding out the top three for the Big Green was freshman Kate Sullivan (Carmel, N.Y.), who finished 96th with a time of 21:54.
Dartmouth took 18th out of 40 teams in the gold division with 518 total points. West Virginia took first with 105 points, while the University of Guelph earned second place with 127 points overall.
The Big Green will finish the weekend on Saturday as Dartmouth will have another squad headed to the Keene Invitational at Keene State College tomorrow morning.
