PEORIA, Ill. - After a second-place finish at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship, women's cross country runner Nicole Benson (Peoria, Ill./Limestone H.S.) has earned this week's Inside Bradley Athletics Performance of the Week.

Benson picked up her fifth top-10 finish of the season Saturday with a time of 18:40, just eight seconds behind conference champion Terry Phillips of Missouri State. For finishing in the top-10, Benson received all-MVC honors. Her performance also helped the Braves claim third place, the team's best conference finish since 2002.
