Big 12 Cross Country Teams Qualify for NCAA Championships

Four Big 12 women’s cross country teams and five men’s teams have qualified for the NCAA Championships. The top two teams from each regional automatically qualify for nationals while the top four individuals not associated with either of those teams also qualify.  The NCAA Championship is Monday, November 23, in Terre Haute, Ind.

The University of Colorado men’s team finished second and the women’s cross country team finished first in the Mountain Regional while the Texas Tech Lady Raiders came in second. Oklahoma State and Oklahoma came in first and second, respectively, in the men's Midwest Regional. The Baylor women and Texas men both finished second in the South Central Regional.
