KENOSHA, Wis. – Northern Kentucky University's Drew Harris posted a third-place finish at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional on Saturday and earned a trip to the nationals as an individual.

Harris completed the 10-kilometer course in a time of 32:29.5 to secure a spot at the NCAA Division II national finals on Nov. 21 in Evansville, Ind. The junior runner finished eight seconds behind overall winner Tyler Emmorey of Grand Valley State and just one second off the pace of runner-up Jaime Villa Zapatero of Drury.

As a team, NKU posted a ninth-place finish with a score of 277. Grand Valley State won the team title with a score of 38, followed by runner-up Saginaw Valley State's total of 88.

NKU's Eric Dwyer finished 31st with a time of 34:18, while teammate Joey Mueller was 51st in a time of 35:02.

In the women's six-kilometer event, NKU placed three runners in the top 40 to place sixth overall with a score of 206. Senior Jenna Siemer led the way for NKU by completing the course in a time of 23:17. Senior Janice Laker also delivered a strong performance with a time of 23:49.

NKU sophomore Jerrica Maddox finished 40th with a time of 23:57, and junior Alisha Hansman completed the course in a time of 24:02.

Grand Valley State won the women's team title with a score of 26, followed by runner-up Southern Indiana with a total of 76.
