Bowling Green State University head men's cross country coach, Cami Wells, has announced the addition of three student-athletes for the 2010 season.  Greg Black, Brian Ferber and Perry Fraylick will join the Falcons next season.

“I am extremely pleased to have Greg, Brian and Perry joining the program,” said Wells. “All three young men are dedicated student athletes with the ability and work ethic to step in and be contributors to the team in all areas.”

Black currently attends Pickerington North High School in Pickerington, Ohio, and will graduate this June. He is a four-year letter-winner in cross country and track. In 2009 he helped lead his team to a conference championship and posted a personal-best time of 16:03 in the 5K. Black earned first-team All-Ohio honors and was his team's MVP in 2009, while also serving as the team captain. Black also helped his team to a fifth-place finish at the Division-I Ohio State Cross Country meet in 2009, finishing 22nd individually. He is the son of Terri and Phil Black, was coached by Tim Starkey and plans to major in mathematics.

Ferber, a native of Sandusky, Ohio, currently attends Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic High School and plans to graduate this June. He is a four-year letter winner in cross country and track, and earned two letters in basketball. The team captain added All-Ohio honors in 2008-09 (finished 24th at the D-III Ohio State Cross Country Meet and 17th as a junior), was his conference's Most Outstanding Performer and was the Northwest District Runner-Up as a senior. He is the son of Gary and Julie Ferber, and his brother Steve ran cross country at Bowling Green. Ferber was coached by Ron Leach and plans to major in special education.

Fraylick, a native of New Madison, Ohio, currently attends Tri-Village High School and plans to graduate this June. He had his best season as a senior, posting a personal-best of 16:50 in the 5K, while earning all-conference honors in 2009.  In 2008, while also earning all-conference honors, he qualified for the 2008 USATF National Junior Olympics. Fraylick added four letters in soccer where he was his conference's offensive player of the year in 2009. Fraylick is the son of Cindy and Mathew Fraylick, was coached by Zac Graham and plans to major in pre-physical therapy.
