Jackson Advances to 60 Meter Final at Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational

LINCOLN, Neb. - North Dakota State sophomore Kevin Jackson placed eighth in the 60 meter preliminaries in 6.94 to advance to Saturday's final at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational. 

Jackson came in 14th in the 200 meter dash in 22.24, but failed to advance to the final.  Senior Jayce Miller was 23rd in 22.71 and junior Doug Scott was 24th in 22.84.

In the 400 meters, sophomore Jason Duchscherer was the top Bison finisher in the 400 meters, placing 24th in 50.08.  Miller was 26th in 50.46 and redshirt freshman Andrew Balzer came in 35th in 51.18.

Sophomore Weston Leutz and freshman Matt Tetzlaff came in 13th and 14th, respectively in the 60 meter hurdle preliminaries.  Jackson was 17th in 8.29 and senior Cody Gronvold was 21st in 8.42.

The Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational continues Saturday beginning at 12:15 p.m.
