CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Will Stratford earned a top-five finish in the 1500-meter run to lead select members of the Davidson men's track and field team Saturday at the Charlotte Invitational at the Irwin Belk Track & Field Facility.

Stratford completed the event in four minutes, 1.08 seconds.

Taylor Martin earned a top-10 finish in the 400-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 56.15 seconds.

JinHan Justin Song competed in the 100-meter dash, placing 12th in 11.09.

Marcus Haustein led the 'Cats in the long jump, placing 15th with a leap of 20 feet, 3 ½ inches (6.18m).

The Wildcats will return to action in one week when they travel to Boone, N.C. for the Southern Conference Track & Field Championships, hosted by Appalachian State.
