INDIANAPOLIOS, Ind. - The Braves claimed four top-10 finishes Saturday, including two in the top-five, at the Stan Lyons Invitational hosted by Butler University.
Bradley's most successful event of the meet was the 800-meter run as junior Mary Goldkamp (Florissant, Mo./McCluer North H.S.) earned fourth place with a time of 2:13.92, followed by senior Katie Nowak (Avon Lake, Ohio/Avon Lake H.S.) in sixth at 2:15.89 and sophomore Michelle Hartman (Savanna, Ill./Prince of Peace H.S.) in eighth at 2:17.31.
The Braves earned their second top-five finish of the day in the 4x400-meter relay as the quartet of Goldkamp, Nowak, Hartman and junior Leann Murphy (Rochester, Ill./Rochester H.S.) took third with a time of 4:04.58. Murphy also picked up a top-20 finish in the 800-meter, taking 17th place at 2:21.22, while senior Shannon Seyller (Harvard, Ill./Harvard H.S.) earned Bradley's top finish in the 1,500-meter run (18th place, 4:53.11).
Bradley will return to action Saturday, May 1 at the Pacesetter Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind.
