INDIANOLA, IOWA --  Freshman Kelly Hendricks (Prospect Heights, Ill.) finished second in the 100-meter and senior Deidra Dirth (Apple Valley, Minn.) was second in the women's discus to highlight action for the Drake track and field team at the Kip Janvrin Open Friday.

Hendricks was clocked in 12.98 seconds, while Dirth had a throw of 154 feet.

Senior Courtney Heinz (St. Paul, Minn.) was fifth in the 1,500 in 4:49.22

Freshman Isaac Twombly (Baldwin City,Kan.) was 14th in the men's discus at 130-9.

Freshman London James (Clive, Iowa) was 21st in the women's 5,000 in 19:16.69
