Lauren Fog Named Country Financial Scholar-Athlete Of The Week

PEORIA, Ill. -- Senior Lauren Fog (Harvard, Ill./Harvard) has been named the Bradley Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday after taking fifth in the 3,000 meters Saturday at the Illinois Intercollegiate in Champaign, Ill.

Fog ran in the 3,000 meters for the first time this season and was one of three Bradley runners in the race.  She clocked a time of 10:39.68 to finish six seconds out of the top three.  An elementary education major, Fog owns a 3.86 cumulative grade point average. 

Each week, a Bradley student-athlete is selected as the Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week.  The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in class standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.

Fog and the Braves return to action Saturday at the Meyo Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
