ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell women's cross country runners Kelsey Karys and Devin McMahon have been named to the United Stats Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association 2010 Division I All-Academic Cross Country Team, the organization announced on Tursday. The pair are among the 99 athletes nationwide to earn the honor, including six runners from the Ivy League.

A total of 62 schools were represented among the 99 honorees, with Ivy League foes Princeton placing three and Brown placing one. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic award, a student-athlete must have compiled a grade point average of 3.25 and have either earned All-America status or finished in either the top 15 runners or top 10 percent of the field at the NCAA regional meet in 2010.

McMahon earned her spot by placing 11th at the 2010 NCAA Northeast Regional on Nov. 14 in Connecticut, while Karys finished 23rd in the field of 247 runners, just edging into the top 10 percent of the field.
