ALBUEQURQUE, N.M. – Slippery Rock University women's track star Whitney Hendershot finished in 10th place in the high jump competition Saturday at the 2011 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Hendershot, who has now qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships three times, had a clearance of 1.68 meters. The two-time All-American earned a spot at this weekend's championships after posting a clearance of 1.71 meters, the 11th best mark in Division II, during the regular season.

Hendershot will now focus her efforts on the outdoor track season as she joins the rest of the Slippery Rock women's track team at the Western PA Championships in California, Pa. on March 25.
