CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Davidson Wildcats concluded the regular season at the Johnson C. Smith University Invitational Saturday afternoon and will now turn their attention to the 2011 SoCon Outdoor Championships.
Junior Brooke Senken finished 36th in the 400 meters with a time of 1:09.21, and freshman Lydia McAliley (13th, 2:32.27) and sophomore Jena Manilla (24th, 2:32.00) competed for the Wildcats in the 800 meters.
Freshman Maggie Rickard finished eighth to lead the Wildcats in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:09.93, followed by teammates Anna Armistead (12th, 5:16.94), Jane Gay (13th, 5:18.04) and Haley Holway (16th, 5:27.43).
Sophomore Cara Wilck finished fourth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:54.10.
Davidson will compete in the Southern Conference Championships in Birmingham, Ala. April 22-23.
