Olsson Sets Meet Long Jump Record at New Year?s Invitational

Megan Tice Earns MAAC Performer of the Week Honors

RIVERDALE, N.Y. - A member of the Manhattan College women's track & field team has been named Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Performer of the Week for the third straight week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.  Senior Megan Tice (Hyde Park, N.Y.) was selected after winning the high jump at the FDU Track Classic on Saturday.

Tice cleared 1.70 meters (five feet, seven inches) to win the competition by 15 centimeters and qualify for the ECAC Championships.  She also took 10th in the long jump with a season-best leap of 4.86 m (15'11½).

Manhattan is back in action at the Metropolitan Outdoor Championships from Rutgers University this weekend.
