Manhattan Track & Field Team Holding Clothing Drive

RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Starting on Thursday, Sept. 15, the Manhattan College track & field team will be holding a shoe and clothing drive to benefit the Salvation Army.  The drive will continue until Saturday, Oct. 15.

The entire College community, especially student-athletes, is encouraged to support the drive.  A donation bin will be set up outside the Intramural Office near the entrance of Draddy Gymnasium, and donations can be dropped off anytime during normal working hours.  Drop offs at other times can also be arranged.  The Salvation Army will collect the donated items and distribute them to children in need, as well as victims of Hurricane Irene.  All donations are welcome, from old shoes to any type of clothing.
