Wildcats struggle at OSU

STILLWATER, Okla. – The ACU women finished 18th overall and the men 23rd Saturday at the 75th annual Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree at the OSU Cross Country Course.

Oklahoma State swept the team titles with the men scoring 46 points to runner-up Indiana's 81 points.  On the women's side, OSU scored 73 points and Indiana was the runner-up on the women's side with 81 points.

The ACU women were 18th with 510 points, while the men were 23rd with 651 points.  No ACU athlete on either side finished in the top 50 in the individual standings.

On the women's side, Chloe Susset finished 58th in a time of 18:53.77, while Alyse Goldsmith – who transferred to ACU last year from Oklahoma State –was 78th in 19:28.20.

For the men, Will Pike was the Wildcats' top finisher, clocking in at 26:22.05 for 91st place.  Erik Forrister was the next-best Wildcat in 26:50.65 for 120th place.

The Wildcats will return to action next Saturday (Oct. 8) at the Midwestern State Invitational in Wichita Falls.
