The Cornell men were fantastic in the field, with six alterations to the all-time Cornell top 10 lists. The Big Red showed remarkable depth in the two-day heptathlon. Senior Josh Cusick scored the No. 2 performance in school history with a total of 5,328 points. Three others also bettered the IC4A standard: senior Vince Formica (5,145, No. 4 all-time), senior Chris Ryan (4,971, No. 6 all-time) and sophomore Mike Rabbit (4,890, No. 9 all-time).

Senior Brian Freitas won the 500 in 1:05.28, with classmate Dan Thomas close behind in 1:05.43 as both achieved the IC4A qualifier.

In the 60, junior Jedidiah Adarquah-Yiadom (third, 6.88) and Aaronson (fourth, 6.90) competed well in a competitive dash final as they, too, had IC4A qualifiers. Sophomore Andre Anderson won the 400 in 50.31 and junior David McCuiston took the 800 in 1:56.67.

In the 5000, senior Chandler Kemp closed extremely well in the final 1000 meters to win in 15:03.14 and lead a 1-5 Cornell sweep. The Big Red closed out the meet in style in winning the 4x400 in 3:21.06 behind legs from Thomas, Anderson, Admirand and Freitas.
