NCAA Qualifier Results
Madison, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's track & field team competed at the University of Wisconsin NCAA Qualifier Friday night in the Camp Randall Memorial Sports Center. No team scores were recorded. The Eagles'
Troy Brooks captured the long jump (23-7 1/4).
Other top finishers Friday included
Jeremiah Burish second in the pole vault (15-11 1/4) while
Andy Novak placed third in the shot put (58-8 1/2).
UW-L's
Christopher Haase was third (22-7 1/4) and
Clark Lundquist fourth (22-3) in the long jump while
John Cooper finished fifth (59-7 3/4) and
Grant Havard ninth (53-1 3/4) in the weight throw.
Jeffrey Hill tied for fourth in the pole vault (15-5 1/2) while
Gary Trkula and
David Pergande tied for seventh (14-11 1/2).
The Eagles'
Alex Zart was sixth (51-3 1/2) and
Adam Poellinger ninth (49-5 3/4) in the shot put.
On the track,
Luke Ackerson finished eighth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.48).
