Wisconsin, Oregon Open 2012 Cross Country At No. 1
NEW ORLEANS – Men’s defending national champion Wisconsin and the women of Oregon are the No. 1 teams in the country for the 2012 NCAA Division I cross country season according to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national preseason coaches’ poll. Wisconsin won the national team crown in 2011 ahead of Oklahoma State and Colorado. Oregon’s women finished fifth a year ago and are No. 1 in the national poll for the first time since 2008.
