John Schilkowsky of Patton HS ran the fastest 800M of any state meet and you guys calculate him to finish 4th? Why not take the actual performances and score it that way instead of doing something make believe?

Looks like he used season PR's. We would all be happy if you would take the time to use State meet results, compile the same type of list and then share it with us. Looking forward to comparing the two.

yea because New Bern is a great team but they would not put 90 up vs. Tabor and West Charlotte. with only 27 or below.

You guys are forgetting a truism of track and field.....the more competitive the meet the LESS points that it takes to win it. If we went back to the old all-class meet that we used to have; New Bern with their elite level squad would be an even bigger favorite to win. In a meet with the very best competitors, a team could win with 40-50 points. Look at the times in the varous classes and start putting them in order; just based on the State Meet performances and see what happens. All of a sudden 20 points is big.
