@coachc1 Just like to point out none of the four male qualifiers in the 1500m/3000m events are in grade 11. Does that show the strength of the 1995 kids, or that the 1994 guys are weak?

@Jo14 I would say that it shows how strong the 95 group is. Because there is a fair number of 94's that have ran sub 8:55 and if you ask me that's still pretty good. Just so happens that there's some outstanding talent in that younger age class.

@Jo14 maybe a bit of overtraining..I know a lot of 94 guys that just have natural talent and do as little as they can now while still running fast times, just so they aren't burned out by university

@Runner_for_life Fantastic run by Ryan Sleiman.(8:28) He has really had a great year. Too bad it is lost in the shuffle of several guys running sub 8:00. Everyone seems to be running pretty well, but it is hard to advance in any event. Congratulations to all the coaches of our youth athletes. You have done a good job this year.

@powerboy Great run by Deion Clifford of Surrey BC 8th in the 2000m Steeple in 5:52. He just took up the event. Brennan and Restall both in the 400m finals.

@bryano Christian Brennan 2nd in the 400m 52.12 - great result Brendan Restall PR'd in the semis 57.26, then 7th in the final 47.34. Also a great result. One question I have is "Why did the coaches choose to put McBride in the 800m over the 400m?" Any amount of research would have clearly shown that he was more competitive at 400m. The 800m is a really tough event to make the finals in - 1:47 basically.

@bryano Great results. Brennan is really proving to be a big race runner as well as a monster talent. Nice combination! McBride is really an 800m runner. I have seen him 3x this year and he has looked better each time. He probably could have run low 1:48 if he'd had his best race. 1:47 next year for sure. Lets hope the 4x4 runs well-Looks like they should run 3:11 or so.

Brennan takes silver in the 200, in 23.47, a new PB! Also, the women's relay team finishes 3rd and Andre Azonwanna-Ford gets 7th in the 200 finals. Too bad the canadians couldnt get to the finals in distance events because of the age-cheats..
