About Me
Rodney King is a 2001 Graduate of Appalachian State University with a BS Degree in History Secondary Education. Upon Graduation Coach King began teaching US History and coaching Track and Field and Cross Country at North Stokes High School in Danbury, NC. Coach King ran track and cross country at North Stokes from 1993-1997. He and his wife have three children. Coach King has been name Northwest 1A Conference Girls Track Coach of the Year 9 times in his 14 years of coaching. (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 ) and was named the Northwest 1A Girls Cross Country Coach of the year in 2005 and 2014.
