West Allegheny girls ran 9:49.30 to win the 4x800 meter relay. Lauren Costa of West Allegheny won the 100 meter hurdles (15.1), the 100 (12.6) and 200 meter dashes (25.8). Beaver ran 4:05.8 to win the 4x400 meter relay. Michelle Watson of Shenango threw 39-1.50 to win the shot put and 108-2 to win the discus. Chyenne Winkle of South Side threw 130-4 to win the javelin. Shatori Walker of Hopewell won the long jump (PA#2 18-5) and triple jump (36-11).
For the boys, Josef Dipietrantonio of Beaver won the 1600 (4:24.6) and 3200 meter runs (9:38.1). Aliquippa ran 42.3 to win the 4x100 meter relay. Hassahn Thompson of Aliquippa ran 10.9 to win the 100 meter dash. Marcus Carter of New Castle won the long jump (22-9.25) and triple jump (44-4). |

In the HSG Tri-State 4x100 Championship, Central Dauphin East won and improved their PA#1 time to 47.64. Swenson was 2nd in 48.08; Pennridge 3rd in 48.37 and Norristown 6th in 48.85. In the HSB Small School 4x100 Championship, Strath Haven improved their PA#3 time to 42.38, finishing 4th. And in the Large Schools 4x100, Neshaminy was 3rd in 42.62. They are already PA#1 with a mark of 42.16.

Reading's Imani Brown leapt 48-11.75 to secure 2nd in the triple jump. Strath Haven's Wellington Zaza was 4th with a jump of 47-04.50.
Ibn Short of Milton Hershey tied his PA#1 mark of 6-9, finishing 3rd on misses in the high jump.
Richard Gatewood of Roman Catholic was 8th in the long jump, going 22-1.

In the HSB 4x800, both Pennridge and Chambersburg qualified for the Championship of America.
In the HSG Championship of America 4x800, Strath Haven finished 5th (2nd American team) in 9:17.41 (Allie Wilson (2:21.3), Kristen Miller (2:12.9), Megan O'Dell (2:25.3), Hannah Grossman (2:17.9) - Downingtown East was 9th in 9:21.74 (9:21.74 Sarah Black (2:19.1), Danielle Castaldi (2:16.0), Anja Weiler (2:22.7), - and West Chester Henderson was 11th in 9:27.49.

Drew Magaha of Upper Moreland pulled back nearly all the field in the final 600 of the mile before running out of real estate for his 4:12.74 mile.

Neshaminy boys had the fastest PA time in the 4x100 meter relay heats, running 42.63 to finish 14th overall. Pennsbury also cracked the top twenty, running 42.90 to finish 17th.

Thursday
On the track, Swenson finished 16th overall in the 4x100 meter relay with a PA#2 time of 47.94. Pennridge (PA#3 47.95) and Central Dauphin East also cracked the top twenty. Coatesville had the fastest PA 4x400 meter relay time of the day with a new PA#2 time of 3:53.00 to finish 13th overall. Central Bucks West ran 3:53.20 to finish right behind Coatesville.
Other highlights included a 3rd place finish in the javelin from Sarah Firestone of Mercersburg (PA#5 144-10) and a 5th place finish from Kelsey Carlsen of Northeast Bradford (142-10). Amanda Benninghoff of Council Rock South finished 8th in the pole vault with a PA#4 mark of 11-9.75. Carter Green of North Schuylkill finished 7th in the discus with a PA#3 throw of 136-3, while Sarah Fairbanks of Elizabethtown Area finished right behind her with a PA#7 mark of 128-8.
In the 4x800, three PA teams advanced to the Championship of America - Strath Haven, Downingtown East, and West Chester Henderson.

Greta Lindsley of Penn Manor ran a PA#2 time of 2:14.60 to win the 800 meter run. Jessica Whitmore of Chambersburg ran a PA#3 time of 12.23 to win the 100 meter dash. Angelica Gonzalez of Red Lion ran 25.36 to win the 200 meter dash. Mary Witmer of Ephrata ran 58.54 to win the 400 meter dash. Rachael DeCecco of Cumberland Valley ran 45.95 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Sarah Fairbanks of Elizabethtown Area won the shot put (38-3) and the discus (126-1).

Ramonia Benitez of Pocono Mountain West moved up to PA#2 in the triple jump with a winning mark of 38-10.75. She also ran 15.71 to win the 100 meter hurdles. Bethlehem Catholic ran 4:03.12 to win the 4x400 meter relay. Kailah Holmes of North Penn, Haley McClain-Hill of Stroudsburg, and Lindsey Stitzer of Nazareth Area all cleared 5-4 in the high jump.

Melissa Cruz of Holy Redeemer ran 2:17.29 to win the 800 meter run. Catie Gawlas of Dallas won the 100 (12.83) and 200 meter dashes (26.62). Erika Huffman of Wyalusing Valley ran 5:13.16 to win the 1600 meter run. Dannah Hayward of Coughlin won the 100 meter (15.57) and 300 meter hurdles (47.23). Devan Kerecman of Holy Cross cleared 11 feet to win the pole vault.
For the boys, the 3200 meter run produced four of the top five performances in PA this season. PA#2 honors went to winner Sean Burke of Abington Heights (9:23.20), with PA#s 3-5 finishing under two seconds behind Burke. Adair Gennocro of St Mary's was 2nd in the 1600 (5:03.74) and won the 3200 meter run (11:08.21). Honesdale ran 4:04.10 to win the 4x400 meter relay. Lauren Ball of Bloomsburg won the long jump (17-4.75) and triple jump (35-9.25). Penn Relays Shot Put champion Rachel Fatherly won the shot put (45-3.75) and the discus (132-2).

Alyssa Wise of Washington ran 25.0 to win the 200 meter dash. For the boys, Dustin Fuller of Washington ran a blazing state leading time of 36.95 to win the 300 meter hurdles. The mark was good enough for US#4. He also added a 15.14 110 meter hurdles win to his day. Nick Delmonaco of Riverview won the shot put (51-6) and the discus (145-2).
