She's running at the Bob Hayes Invitational. That where she has ran the last three year.
why isnt she running in tampa saturday? the compitition is going to be at USF!
@hallllla Competition? No matter where she goes in Florida, there is no competition. She might as well stay home and run time trials on her track for all the competition she sees at her meets.

@stanthis you are correct this is where she has been competing. The competition should go there to gage themselves against "the best competition" Ms. Freeman.

@scoogy1967 Reynolds is in a different category than Freeman in my opinion (400 runner). Freeman is hands down the best 100/200 runner in the state.

Let it be known Freeman can run a 400m. She have ran it in a meet since 7th grade. So don't let that time that shows her personal best fool you. I have seen her do three 38 sec repeats in 300m in practice w/12 minutes rest. Not saying she will beat Reynolds but, she would be good in 400m also. Unfortunately you can only do 4 events. 100m, 200m, 4x100m and Long Jump. So, you can believe what you please.

@stanthis No question I'm sure Freeman can do 400, however, Robin Reynolds is certainly no slouch! 4 gold medals as a Freshman (100, 200, 400, Long Jump)at state meet! Although Freeman is the best at 100 & 200, Reynolds has run 11.56 100M & 23.6 200M. She had best time in the country in 400M-53.1; Long Jump of 19-9.5. Oh, and she's run a 2:15 800....It's like comparing Usain Bolt to Michael Johnson (in his prime). They are BOTH superstars!! We're lucky to have the "Golden Age" of sprinters in Florida!

No one ever said Reynold was a slouch. She will turn out to be the best all around trackster in Florida History. Freeman keep getting sale short because she has not ran a 400m since 7th grade. Yes, Reynold is most likely better around trackster. But, like I said with Freeman you can only do 4 events. I love all Florida tracksters. But, Freeman get recognize more in another states then her own. Hand down Reynolds is most likely a better long jumper and 400m runner, but, i know for sure Freeman don't even practice the long jump and Freeman can High Jump over 5'4. Yes, Reynolds probably would do better also if she wasn't involved in so many other sports. But, I agree w/u they are both superstars.

We are not trying to put two tracksters at odds because they will probably be on the same team this summer. Coach Jackson Miami Northwestern has convince to let her do all the meets this summer. I'm just saying Freeman can run a 400m to. But, we all agree that Florida has some of the best tracksters in the country (Florida Rules).

@stanthis Not sure why you think Octavious is "short changed" in Florida? I think she actually gets at least as much coverage in Florida as Reynolds or anyone else. Having watched Octavious more than Robin (at Nike/New Balance Outdoor Nationals, Golden South, State meets, etc), I don't think anyone in Florida is "unaware" she's the best sprinter in the country. I also think the best 100M runners are given a LOT more coverage than the best 400M runners. That one may be open for opinion....

@stanthis OOPS!!!:-$ OCTAVIOUS RULES!! As an aside, I would bet she is the only runner in Florida that people would know just by her 1st name! Like I said before, she's a female "Usain".....
