Girls 4x1 relay break meet record with a 45.48 time, but it is hardly mentioned anywhere. Is it because the girls are from different area highschools? (Osceola HS, Boone HS and West Orange HS)

(Osceola HS, Boone HS and West Orange HS)[/quote] @Joshua I would guess that's true. Most posts here are for high school teams as opposed to club or "all-star" teams. That being said, that is a great accomplishment!! It's also #2 best time in the nation! Can you post names of girls on the team? (I can probably guess....). 1 Elite Girls T.C. 'A' 45.48 2 2 Lake Wales HS 'A' 45.53 2 3 Lake Brantley HS 'A' 46.33 1 4 Young Achievers T.C. 'A' 46.71 2 5 Plantation Heat 'A' 47.73 2 6 Star Trackers (Ba) 'A' 48.07 1 7 Perseverence Track Club 'A' 48.39 2 8 W.R.I. Track Club 'A' 50.39 1

(Osceola HS, Boone HS and West Orange HS) No it's because Freeman wasn't on the team. If she was then it would have been a big deal. They don't really give other athletes the praise that is deserve regardless of how big their accomplishment. I'm sure if Freeman was on the team it would have been all over the front page. Just my opinion on what I have observed.

That group could have run faster if she was at full strength, not taking anything away from this years group that put together an amazing time. Its always great for me to see the state of Florida (especially Central Florida) do well!!!

@TrackGurl0130: Stop being a hater on Octavious. An allstar team beat a Lake Wales team that ran there original team. If they would have added D Hill from Lake Highland Prep, that race would not have been close (replacing the 3rd leg). We were told to run our original relay because, if we ran the fastest time in Florida School's History, it would not be recognized as that. 45.53 best time by a High School running their school relay in Florida's History. Not taking anything from FL Elite girls they did a great job. CONGRATS!

Maybe we should have put a Polk County All-Star Team together and the race would have been a little more interesting... Di'Kerria Wilson 12.14 Octavious Freeman 11.21 Shalaneya Bryant 11.89 Sabria Hadley 11.9 Hmmmm....
