Meet Information
Date: Saturday October 13th
Star Times: 11:30 am Women 5km
12:15 pm Men 8km
Course: The race is run on the University of Guelph campus on the Canadian Cross Country Championships Course that is located in the University of Guelph Arboretum. Site of the 2007-2010 Canadian Cross Country Championships and 2010 OUA Cross Country Championships. The course is grass, with mulch and gravel. There are several up and down portions on the course.
Course Inspection: Course will be available for inspection from 4 pm 7 pm on Friday October 12th. There will be a High School meet in progress until 4 pm.
Entries: Please pay by cheque payable to the University of Guelph at the meet. This meet is open to all athletes college, university, club and unattached.
Pre-registration- $15.00 per runner, to a maximum of $255 per team. Unlimited runners per team. (Entries Deadline 12pm on Wednesday, October 10th)
Race-day- $25.00 per runner, team maximum does not apply.
Packet Pick-Up- Will be onsite from 8 am to 11 am on race day. We will use chip timing, please insure your athletes wear their chips. No chip, No time!
Awards: New Balance provided awards will be presented on-site at the conclusion of the meet.

Vic Matthews: A long-time coach of the Gryphon Cross-Country team, Vic coached 4 CIS Champions, 10 Conference (OWIAA and OUAA) Champions, the 1969 CIS Men's Team Champions, and was a leader in establishing Canadian collegiate distance running for women. Vic is a member of the Gryphon Hall of Fame, Vic passed away in 2004.
