Fusco, Carleton highlight women’s track at Aloha Relays

BRUNSWICK, Maine — Bates first-year Sarah Fusco and senior Lizzy Carleton moved into second and seventh places, respectively, on the team all-time performance list in the 400 meters, one of several highlights for the Bobcats as they finished fourth among seven teams at the Aloha Relays. Huskies Second at the Aloha Relays

  BRUNSWICK, Maine -- Junior Molly Carl (York, Maine) won two events Saturday to help the University of Southern Maine women's outdoor track and field team place second among seven teams competing at the annual Aloha Relays hosted at Bowdoin College.             The Huskies amassed 131 points to edge out Colby College for the runner-up spot by nine points.  Host Bowdoin took the team title collecting 196 points.  Bates College was fourth with 82.50 points. Hicks, Reardon, Fyxell wins events for women's track

BRUNSWICK, Maine --- Annabelle Hicks, Brittany Reardon, and Leigh Fryxell all won events for the Colby College women's outdoor track and field team at the Bowdoin College Aloha Relays on Saturday.   Hicks took the 100-meter dash in 12.44, Reardon won the 100 hurdles with a 14.93 clocking, and Fryxell took the javelin throw with a toss of 116-06. WATERVILLE, Maine  – Freshman Will Wegener (Falmouth, Maine) won the 400-meter dash with an ECAC qualifying time to highlight several strong performances by the University of Southern Maine Huskies men's outdoor track and field team at the 2012 Maine State Intercollegiate Track and Field Championship hosted by Colby College this Saturday in Waterville, Maine.h (via Southern Maine)

Kone wins Hillman Award at State of Maine meet

WATERVILLE, Maine ---- Colby College's Dom Kone won the Alan G. The University of Houston track and field teams concluded the 54th annual Mt. Sac Relays on Saturday, as the women's 4x400 claimed first, while setting a new season best mark and Grecia Bolton reaches a season best in the 200m dash.

2012 Track Chats - Haley Crouser

Welcome to Track Chats 2012! We continue with javelin superstar Haley Crouser from Gresham HS in Oregon.  Haley has big expectations for the 2012 outdoor season, especially with the Olympic Trials coming this summer.  Few could predict, however, that she would come out in her first meet, the Aloha Relays, and launch a HS record toss of 181-02!

Oregon Relays - Saturday

Alexa Efraimson Tatum Taylor ran 10.65 and Justin Brown jumped 23-08 to lead the guys.   Hannah Cunliffe ran 11.77, while Alexa Efraimson topped Paige Rice in an exciting 1500.

Wildcats Win Five Events at Widener Invitational

A successful day of competition for Villanova included wins in three running events and two field events in the Widener Invitational at Leslie C. Quick, Jr. Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Freshman Bryan Murphy (Teaneck, N.J.), junior Nicoy Hines (Paterson, N.J.) and sophomore Chris Fitzsimons (Hamden, Conn.) each won running events while freshmen Elbert Maxwell (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Matthew Sidney (Canton, Mass.) captured the long jump and the high jump, respectively.
