The Boston University Department of Athletics is saddened to learn of the passing of John Thomas (SED '63), one of the greatest American high jumpers of all-time. A two-time Olympian and former world record holder, Thomas passed away on Tuesday.

Construction to Begin on New Track, Softball and Soccer Facilities Jan 15, 2013

Construction of Kansas Athletics' brand-new, state-of-the-art track and field, soccer and softball facilities can begin soon, now that the City Commission of Lawrence has approved the proposed site for this use. The site, which has been named Rock Chalk Park, is near the intersection of 6th Street and George Williams Way, just east of K-10.

Fordham Assistant Track & Field Coach Ed Joyce Passes Away Jan 13, 2013

Fordham Athletics mourned the loss of assistant cross country/track & field coach Ed Joyce on Sunday, as he passed away early Sunday morning at Calvary Hospice in the Bronx, after a long bout with cancer. Coach Joyce was honored with a moment of silence prior to the start of Sunday's men's basketball game between Fordham and Massachusetts.
