The 2013 XC Season is Off: JCCS Opener Coverage Louisiana Running Sep 04, 2013

On the afternoon of September 3rd the Louisiana cross country season officially opened up with a short but challenging race at Lafreniere Park in New Orleans.  The John Curtis Christian School hosted a 3k race to several top local programs in near perfect conditions.

As a former collegiate and post-collegiate runner and through many years coaching young and older runners, two significant aspects about the coach/athlete relationship have come to the forefront.  The first is that the coach must create a program, a philosophy, an environment that is conducive to success. – a process.  The second is the athlete must come to wholeheartedly trust that process, without question. 

Round Table lives up to expectations Louisiana Running Sep 17, 2012

The EHS Round Table Run, while not the first race of the season, will certainly be remembered as the first important race of the season.  Numerous teams from around the state gathered to compete on a brisk fall morning at Highland Park in Baton Rouge to compete against the best the state has to offer.  The hype certainly was worth what happened.
